Easter

Elaborate Easter musical programs vill be given today in the various churches of the city. In some cases both morning and evening rnusifcal programs will be given. At the First Congregational church vesper praise service In celebration of the resurrection of the Christ will be given at 4 "'clock this afternoon. At 5:30 o'clock this morning an Easter musical propram was given at St. Benedict's church, and it will be repeated at 10 o'clock today. The program follows:

Police Department Has But Little Equipment Now to Handle Such Emergencies.

of Robert SJ. Lee, brickmason, Rosedale, Ind., on the banks of the Wabash river a few days ago, a deplorable laok of equipment of the police department to meet such cases was brought to light. The police were unable to make a search of the river as they have no boats and no equipment with which to drag the river.
