SUIT BLOCKS PAYMENT ON 1CKVILLE PAVING
Frank Adams Alleges Work Not According to Law and Cites Present Indebtedness.
By Special Correspondent. ROCKVILLE, Ind., Nov. 23— An injunction has been tiled by Frank Adams against the town of Rockville, the board of town trustees, and George L. Laney, clerk-treasurer of Rockville, to restrain the payment for paving the street intersections of the public square. The injunction avers that the way and manner of paving, set forth by law, has not been followed, and that the bonded indebtedness of the town is nearly $10,000 in excess of the constitutional limit, of 2 per cent of all the taxable property. The work was supposed to have been popularly endorsed when let.

ROCKVILLE, Ind., Nov. 23.—Mar riage licenses have been granted to Perry Edward Bennett and Nora Jane Harris, both of Parke county, and Claude Hungerford, Rockville, and Anna May Stringfellow, Montezuma 1. The former couple were mar ried by Justice Frank M. Bryant, and thte latter by Rev. William T. Barbre. A wedding supper was served in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Hungerford by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Hungerford.
Akers Killa Wild Cat.
By Special Correspondent. ROCKVILLE, Ind., Nov. 23.—Chas. Akers of Bellmore has killed the first wild cat seen in Parke county for about twenty years. The animal was killed on the farm of James McAllister, seven miles southeast of Rockville, and the carcass was brought to the fur shop of Thomas & Throneburgh, where it has attracted considerable notice.
OLD CASES DISMISSED.
Court Told That Evidence is Lacking to Gain Convictions. With the opening of the Circuit Court Tuesday morning Deputy Prosecutor Frank Foley presented a motion to dismiss six cases set on the dockot for trial. Frank Morgan and Anna Morton, who were to be tried Tuesdaj for assault and battery on each other were released on the grounds that the state had insufficient evidence to convict. Keiser and Keiser, and Fry and Fry, two dairy firms charged with selling impure milk, were dismissed on similar grounds. Violet McKin, charged with a statutory offense, was dismissed because she had married. Emil Ezon, charged with trespass, was dismissed for lack of evidence. All of the cases were old ones.
The trials of Marlon Mulvaney and Leo Mulvaney, charged with a violation of the Nicholson law, were set ofver until Monday.

What Dyspeptics Should Eat
A Physician's Advice.
"Indigestion and practically all forms of stomach trouble, about nine times out of ten, are due to hyperacidity therefore stomach sufferers should, whenever possible, avoid eating food that is acid in its nature, or which by chemical action in the stomach develops acidity. Unfortunately, such a rule eliminates most foods which are pleasant to the taste as well as those which are rich in blood, flesh and nerve building properties. This is the reason why dyspeptucs and stomach sufferers are usually so. thin, emaciated and lacking in that vital energy which can only corne from a well fed body. For the benefit of those sufferers who have been obliged to exclude from their diet all starchy, sweet or fatty food, and are trying to keep up a miserable existance on gluten products, I would suggest that you try a meal of any food or foods which you like, in moderate amount, taking immediately afterwards a teaspoenful of bisurated magnesia in a little hot or cold water. This will neutralize any excess acid which may be present, or which may be formed, and Instead of the usual feeling of uneasiness and fullness, you will find that your food agrees with you perfectly. I know of nothing better than plain bisurated magnesia as a fond corrective and antacid. It has no direct action on the stomach but bv nsutralizing- the acidity of the food contents, and thus removing the source of the acid irrtation which inflames the delicate stomach lining. It doei more than could possibly be done by anv drug or medicine that acts upon the stomach lining rather than the stomach contents. As a physician, I believe in the use of medicine whenever necesar.v, but I must admit that cannot se» the yense of dosing an inflamed and irritated stomach with drugs instead of getting rid of the acid —the cause of all the trouble. Get a little bisurated magnesia from your druggist, eat what you want at your next meal, take some of the bisurated magnesia, as directed above, and see if I'm not rlsrht."

Girls, have you heard about the newest way to curl the hair? If you have not, by all means, cut out these simple directions and try this wonderful method tonight before you go to bed. Just procure a new tooth brush and a few ounces of plain liquid silmerlne from your druggist apply enough of the liquid with the brush to moisten the hair from root to tip. Tomorrow vou will be quite astonished when you find that your hair has dried in such lovely waves and curls they appear altogether natural instead of having been artificially acquired.
Your hair will of course have more "body" and fiuffiness than where the drying, singeing waving iron Is used. It will appear glossier and livelier, foi silmerine has proven equally desirable as a dressing for the hair. You'll find it pleasant to use. and it will leave no sticky, greasy or streaky trace.
