NEEDS NINETY BIG DOLLARS.

Present Plight of the Florence Crlttenton Home Here. Although the Crlttenton Home board is greatly enocuraged over the present condition of the home, it having undergone a thorough repair, it is wondering now where the $90 to pay interest on thp $3,000 indebtedness of the home, is to'come from. The six per cent interest on this note Is paid semi- annually, and it was stated at the monthly meeting Friday that it would soon be due.

There are now in the home eight girls and six babies. The following financial report was made at Friday's meeting: On hand '. 32.08 Received from county $ 25.00 Received from city 26.00 South Bend Crlttenton circle .. 50.00 Donations 124.34 Annual dues 32 50

Total $288.92 EXPENDITURES. Telephones 6.80 Water and gas 5.50 Provisions, Including sygar for canning 19.60 Salaries 60.00 Coal 8.18 Repairs 135.10

Total $218.68 This leaves a balance of $55.35 in the treasury.

Mrs. S. C. Stimsoh, president, said that work of installing a new furnace to cost about $180 would be started Monday and she is very anxious to have all debts against the home met by fall.

The South Bend circle sent the $50 contribution for the care of two of the girls of that city who became mothers at the home here.
