WHY CHILLY WEATHER
Says Skin Pores Are Closed Uric Acid Remains in Blood.
Rheumatism is no respecter of age, sex, color or rank. If not the most dangerous of human afflictions it is one of the most painful. Those subject to rheumatism should eat less meat, dress as warmly as possible, avoid any undue exposure, and, above all, drink lots of pure water.
Rheumatism is caused by uric acid which is generated In the bowels and absorbed into the blood. It is the function of the kidneys to filter this acid from the blood and cast it out in the urine the pores of the skin are also a means of freeing the blood of tl.is impurity. In damp and chilly, cold weather the skin pores are closed, thus forcing the kidneys to do double work, they become weak and sluggish and fail to eliminate this uric acirl which keeps accumulating and circulating through the system, eventually seetling in the joints and muscles causing stiffness, soreness and pain called rheumatism.
At the first twinge of rheumatism get from any pharmacy about four ounces of Jad Salts put a tahlespoonful in a glass of water and drink before breakfast each morning for a week. This is said to eliminate uric acid by stimulating the kidneys to normal action, thus ridding the blood of these impurities.
Jad Salts is inexpensive, harmless and is made from the acid of grapes and lemon juice, combined with lithia and is used with excellent results bythousands of folks who are subject to rheumatism. Here you have a pleasant,

An Easy Way to Gain 10 tiO Lbs. of Solid, Healthy, Pennane Hesh Thin, n«rvous, undevelopedien and women everywhere axe heard say, "I can't understand why I do n?et fat. I eat plenty of good, nourish: food." The reason Is just this: You cnotget fat, no matted how much yoat, unless your digestive organs jimllate the fat-making elements of ir food instead of passing them ouhrough the body as waste.
What Is needed is a means g«ntly urging the assimilative functs of the stomach and intestines to arb the oils and fats and hand theover to the blood, where they may ich the starved, shrunken, run do tissues and build them up. The thijerson's body is like a dry sponge—?er and hungry for the fatty materialf which it is being deprived by thelhir® of the alimentary canal to ta them from the food. The best wao overcome this sinful waste of fli building elements and to stop tlleakage of fats is to use Sargol, tlrecently discovered regenerative forcthat is recommended so highly by.ysidans here and abroad. Take a lb Sargol tablet with every meal and tlce how quickly your cheeks fill oumd rolls of Arm, healthy flesh ardeposlted over your body, covering :h bony angle and projecting point.
All good druggists haveargol, or can get it from their whoaler and will refund your money If are not satisfied with the gain iiveight it produces as stated on the grantee in each package. It is inexpiive, easy to take and highly efficient
Caution:—While Sargohas produced remarkable results overcoming nervous dyspepsia a general stomach troubles, it shou not be taken unless you are wilj to gain ten pounds or more, for is a wonderful flesh-builder.
