Class Reunions, Receptions and Dinners to Mark Week of June 13 At State Normal School.

Class reunions, receptions, dinners and commencement exercises have been arranged for the week of June 13 at the Indiana State Normal school when 203 seniors will be graduated from the school. Twenty-six seniors will receive diplomas from the Normal training high school in addition to this number.

The first commencement activity will be held Sunday, June 13, at 10:30 o'clock in the morning when the baccalaureate sermon will be given in the Normal hall. The Rev. Morton C. Pearson, of Indianapolis, will deliver the address. The chorus of tne scnool will sing two songs from "The Holy City." Robert Duenweg will give a vocal selection.

Monday evening the sixth annual commencement exercises of the Normal training high school will be held at the Normal hall. Prayer will be offered by the Rev. L. O. Richmond. Miss Esther Hance will give a piano solo and the class will sing a number of songs. Dr. James A. Woodburn, of the department of history of Indiana university, will give the address. The diplomas will be presented by Dr. W. W. Parsons, president of the Normal achool. The following will be graduated:

Tuesday evening the junior reception will be given to the senior class. This Is an annual affair and is intended to show the coming upperclassman's respect for those who have finished the work of the school. The seniors will return the compliment on the following evening with a complimentary entertainment at the Normal hall. The Northwestern university glee club will entertain during the evening.

Thursday will be the day of reunions. At noon the thirtieth anniversary and reunion oi the class ot 1885 will be held at the Elks' club. At 2:30 o'clock the annual meeting of the Alumni Association of the Normal will be held at the training school assembly hall. During the afternoon reunions of the classes of 1875, 1885. 1895 and 1905 will be held.

Thursday night at 8 o'clock the annual reception of the board of trustees and the faculty to the graduates and alumni will be held at the library building. The commencement exercises will be held the following morning at the Normal hall. Dr. Shailer Mathews, dean of the divinity school of the University of Chicago, will deliver the commencement address on "The Opportunities of the Teacher in the Age of Transition." Dr. "W. W. Parsons will present the diplomas.

CAL WINTERS RECALLED.

City Judge Suspends Penal Farm Sentence on Conditions. Calvin Winters, bartender for O'Donnell & O'Mara, who last Wednesday morning was found guilty by a Jury in City Court of having sold liquor on Sunday and was fined $50 and costs for the offense, was c/led Wednesday morning before Special Judge George Ira Kisner and fined $25 and costs and given 30 days on the penal farm on a similar charge. When arrested two charges were placed against Winters for selling to two different men. The fine and sentence were suspended on the condition that the law violation never occur again.

MEMBERS ARRANGE COMMUNION

Good Will Council, Y. M. I., to Hold

Services June 6.

The quarterly communion for the members of Good Will council No. 277, Toung Men's Institute, will be given Sunday, June 6, it was announced at the meeting of the council Tuesday night. Many of the members attended the euchre and dance given at the Knights of Columbus hall by the Holy Rosary church of Seelyville aiter the meeting. The regular monthly memorial services in honor of the departed members was held during the meeting. Rev. Maurice O'Connor, chaplain, was in charge of the services.

EVANGELIST TALKS TO GIRLS.

Mrs. Daisy Barr Speaks At Meeting

Business and college girls of the city attended the meeting in the auditorium of the Young Women's Christian association at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning, when Mrs. Daisy Barr, of the Lyon evangelistic party, spoke. The meeting was well attended. At 12:30 the members of the Lyon party held shop meetings at the Columbian enameling and stamping plant, the Turner glass plant and the Vandalia east yards. In the afternoon Dr. Milford H. Lyon spoke to elderly people at the tabernacle.

CAPT. W. J. ALLEN DEAD.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., May 26.— Capt. W. J. Allen, 86, for many years head of the G. A. R. Post here, and tho largest individual tax payer in tho county, died here today. He took part in the California gold rush in 1849 and was an artillery officer in the civil war.
