Tbe epchlbtt Is attracting the Interest of the housewives of Terre Haute. The demonstrator in charge shows how deftly and quickly delicious and palatable dishes can be made from Campbell's soup, which Is one of the products Internationally recognized for its quality and merit.

Mr. Heffner is distributing little booklets containing some of the Campbell soup achievements. Some of the more popular selections are the following: j' Tomirto Soap With Croutons.

Toeet brown, or fry crisp in butter, bread cut into small cubes. Prepare a canful of Camphell's tomato soup for the table In the usual way. When ready to servey drop a few cubes into each plateful of soup. The croutons may be served separately at the table if deaired, thus l»surtrg their crispness in the soup. This makes an agreeable variation and adds a touch of pleasing novelty to the regular service. Tomato Soap With Whipped Cream.

Prepare & canful of Campbell's tomato soup either pdain by the addition of hot water In the usual way or as a bisque by the addition of hot milk according to the ea3y direction on the label. Serve this bouillon cups, topping each, cupful with, a tablospoonful Of stiffy whipped cream just before serving. For ladies' luncheon, specially, this makes a decidedly attractive feature both to the eye and the taste.

Balled Ricc With Brown Sauce. To give a pleasing zest to the meat course with the family dinner take rice well boiled and blanched and arrange It in mounds surrounded by brown sauce made as follows: Fry one onion, thinly sliced, in a tablespoonful of butter. When brown remove the onion

from the saucepan and add a teaspoonful of flour to the butter, rub this smooth and brown it then add one can of Campbell's tomato soup and one can of hot water heat slowly until thick. Season with paprika and salt to suit the taste. This also makes a substantial and satisfying luncheon-course.

Commercializiiis European Disaster at (be Expense of America

Wall street, the Beef Trust, the Sugar Trust and the Gamblers were the first to make capital out of the European disaster at the expense of the "American people." Meat was advanced, sugar advanced, flour advanced in spite of the bumper crops raised in this, God's country. Must we stand for it? It looks like we can't help*ourselves. Friends, here is at least ONE STORE that has the fighting spirit—and fight we will for lower prices. Help us reduce "gambling" in "necessities" by practicing economy. For Saturday:
