IS HELD FOR TREASON
Indictment Has Been Returned Against Him and Twenty-One of His Accomplices.
LONDON, Oct. 13.-12:10 p. m.— Reuter's TelegTam company has received via Amsterdam a dispatch from Sarajevo, Bosnia, saying that the indictment against Gaviro Prinzip, the assassin of Archduke Francis Ferdinand and his wife, together with twen-ty-one of his .accomplices, has been read in Sarajevo.
The men are charged with high treason in connection with the assassination of the archduke. Three other persons have been charged with being cognizant of the plot and of having concealed weapons with which the outrage was perpetrated.
The indictment deals at length with the Servian society called Narodna Odbrana In Belgrade, which organized the conspiracy with methods by which the bombs and weapons were smuggled into Bosnia, and relates how the conspirators at Sarajevo recruited their accomplices, distributed their weapons and took their places on the street to await the coming of the archducal "party.
Prinzip under examination admitted that with a second bullet he intended to kill Field Marshal Oskar Potiorek, the governor of Bosnia, but that he used it for the archduchess.
SITUATION AT BESIEGED CITY OF NACO REMAINS UNCHANGED
Such is Report of Colonel Hatfield, Who Commands U. S. Troops on The Arizona Border.
WASHINGTON, Oct. 13—Colonel Hatfield, commanding the American troops on the Arizona border, reported to the war department early today that a the situation at the besieged Mexican town of Naco was unchanged. "Desultory firing continued through the night," the dispatch said. "It is impossible to prevent bullets from falling on the American side as long as I firing is continued. A shrapne} shell passed through the rear of an unoccupied house near the border. It was an accident and the fire was corrected immediately upon demand. "In addition to the two men wounded some time ago, a corporal has been shot in the thumb."

HOW TO PREVENT ACID STOMACHS AND FOOD FERMENTATION
•f By a Stomach Specialist.
t'
As a specialist who has spent many years in the study and treatment of Stomach troubles, I have been forced to the conclusion that most people who complain of stomach trouble possess stomachs that are absolutely healthy "and normal. The real trouble, that which causes all the pain and difficulty, is excessive acid in the stomach, aggravated by food fermentation. Hyperacidity irritates the delicate lining of 1 the stomach and food fermentation causes wind which distends the stom-
ach abnormally, causing that full bloated feeling. Thus both acid and I fermentation interfere with and retard the process of digestion. The stomach fs is usually healthy and normal, but irriI tated almost past endurance by these foreign elements—acid and wind. In 1 all such cases—and they comprise over it 90 per cent, of all stomach difficulties— the first and only step necessary is to neutralize the acid and stop the fer'mentation by taking in a little warm or cold water immediately after eatings ^from one to two teaspoonfuls of bisurated magnesia, which is doubtless

and only really effective
antacid and food corrective known. The 1 acid will be neutralized and the fer'unentation stopped almost instantly, Jpnd your stomach will at once proceed tsWo digest the food in a healthy, normal (manner. Be sure to ask your druggist 4 jffor the bisurated magnesia, as I have 1 i'found other forms utterly lacking in fits peculiarly valuable properties.—F.

COW GIVES {1,000 BONDS BEFORE HALL
Arrested by Local Police After Release Under Habeas Corpus Proeeedings at Vincenne3.
M. W. Cozart, who figured. In the United States commissioners' court before Commissioner Orph M. Hall last spring, as the result of an indictment returned against him by a federal grand jury at Aberdeen, Miss., on a charge of violating the postal laws, was again placed under arrest by the police Monday afternoon on the strength of a telegram from W. C. Watson, postoffice inspector of Aberdeen, but was released shortly afterward by Commissioner Hall under $1,000 bail, which Cozart furnished in cash. Cozart, who is organizing a company to build a tie plant near Merom, was arrested at Vincennes last week on a telegram from Aberdeen, and after staying in jail forty-two hours was released on habeas corpus, although he had a certified check for $10,000, which was refused when he offered it for bail. The arrest here Monday afternoon followed an attempt to arrest him at Merom by the mayor of Vincennes and a man accompanying him, on the original charge against him of violating the postal laws.
Arrested by Police.
Cozart came to Terre Haute alter his release at Vincennes and told Commissioner Hall that he was going to be in this vicinity and if any demand was made for his arrest, he would report at the commissioner's office. Testerday he telephoned to Hall from Merorn that two private citizens from Vincennes were trying to arrest him, and asking whether they had authority to do so.
Hall called the men to the
phone and told them that if they attempted the arrest they did so at their peril, and Cozart at once started for Terre Haute in hie automobile. He reached the city limits at 3 o'clock and was met by the police who arrested him on the telegram from the postal inspector. .Watson directed in a telegram to the commissioner that Cozart be held on $10,000 bail, but the official fixed it at $1,000. An United States marshal appeared from Indianapolis and was present at the proceedings before the commissioner.
Charges Persecution.
Cozart was originally indicted in Mississippi on what he clams is a case of politcal persecution, growing out of a flght against the present governor of that state, and the men under indictment with him on the postal violation charge are under $50,000 bonds there, the indictments, he claims, having been secured by political opponents. He says that if he went back to Mississippi he would be put under a million dollar bonds under various charges. He told Inspector Watson during Monday's hearing that if Watson would guarantee that he would not be killed he would go back to Mississippi at once. The case against Cozart on whico he was originally indicted was set for hearing last week, but he was unable to attend because of illness, and he sent an affidavit to that effect. The court, however, lefused to accept it until he had communicated with the hotel keeper at Merom where Cozart was confined to bed, who made a statement verifying the illness.
