Turk "Wounds Fellow Countryman During Altercation at Greencastle Sunday.
William Allah, who seriously wounded Rusha Mohamet, at Green castle, Sunday, with a revolver, was returned to Greencastle Monday morning by Sheriff Boee, of Putnam county. Two other men, wanted for helping Allah in the fight at Greencastle, escaped. Allah was arrested by Special Officer Waumpler of the Big Pour railroad Sunday night on a freight train in the Duane yards. Waumpler boarded the train northwest of the xity and found Allah In a car with a number of other men. The Turk attempted to draw a gun on Waumpler but the officer grappled with him and took htm from the car.
The men implicated in the shooting at Greencastle are all Turks in the employ of a glass company. Allah and the man he shot were in Greenoa«tle for the purpose ot loading glass sand on cars. The two quarreled some days ago, according to Allah. Sunday Allah and two companions went to the sand pit and waited for Mahomet to come. When he appeared Allah opened fire on him with a revolver, Mohamet ran and two bullets hit him in the legs. He will reoover.
