Mr. and Mrs. Allan "Dinkens and Lewis Dinkens of Terre Haute are at the bedside of their mother, Mrs. William Dinkens, who is critically ill.
Mrs. Carrie Rivers of Paris attended the W. F. M. A. at the M. E. church on Wednesday afternoon. An interesting meeting being conducted after which the mite boxed were opened.
Mr. and Mrs, A. W, Famham of Chicago arrived Saturday for a two weeks' visit with the latter's mother, Mrs. Rinnie Newcomb.
William Givens, superintendent of the U. B. S. S., entertained four of his Sunday school classes to a picnic on Thursday afternoon in the Nye grove from 3 to 6. A delightful time was had by all whose good fortune it was to be there. Refreshments of Ice cream and cake were Berved.
Mrs. Charity Farnham, who has been an invalid for a number of years, is incurably 111, death being momentarily expected.
Mrs. Ed Gainwood went to Paris to eee her aunt, Mrs. Ida Thompson, who Is critically ill wlti Bris?l.t's disease.

Largest Garage in Eastern Illinois Opened in Chrisman

CHRISMAN, 111., Aug. 22.—The Holden and Tucker garage, just completed at a cost of |15,000, is said to be the largest and finest equipped in this part of the state. The building is 75 by 136 feet and has separate buildings for machine shop and heating plant. The upper floor contains rest rooms for women tourists. The building was begun over a year ago.
