among Shakespeare’s cerations, that the Academy ought to have been jammed; aa It was, the audience, alChbugh tho largest of the week, spoke very poorly for the taste of Indianapolis; and will hardly prove any inducement to Mrs. Slddons to repeat her visit to our city. Her Impersonation of Beatrice last night was a most excellent one. She la admirably adapted by nature for the part, and she preseuted the saucy, volatile, yet womanly maiden to the life; a completer delineation has not been see a upon the boards of the Academy. Her acting, when the character of Hero was assailed at the altar, and in the subsequent interview with Benedick, could not have been improved upon. Mr. Leake's Benedick was a performance whlQh made It hard to believe that he was asauining the character foKthe first time; he entered as fully Into the spirit and played It with as mnch force as if he had done It a thousand times. To him much of the excellence of the performance is due. Mr. Murdoch’s - Don Pedro was a performance chsracte^lstlo of that gentlemen, and. one with which no fault could be found. Of Mr. Moreland's Claudio, a good deal may be said in praise. White’s Dogberry was a little overdone. Miss Prentice aa Hero had not a great deal to aay, and did n6t say that with any very remarkable degree of excellence. The other members of the company acquitted themselves creditably, and some, wlthjmanlfcst improve-
ment.
To-night, the last of Mrs. Slddons’ engagement and the occasion of her benefit, Cymbeline will be played. Lunacy Phocekoino.—A lunacy commissiSn, composed of Esquires Wallace and Fisher, yesterday examined an old woman named Sarah Roberta, and declared her insane. ’For a number of years aa our older cltlsens will remernBcr, she lived with another old woman and an idiotic deformed boy, In a little hovel on Alabama street, just north of the ilarket House. The old women thought the boy was the most perfect being ever created, and an insinuation to the contrary was received with the greatest anger. A lady visitor once happening to allude to his miserable condition, was sot upon and driven out of the house with blows and abuse. For several years they have been living near the old paper mill, on Market atreet^and do not aeetn to have gut along together very well. When the offleor went t» remove Sarah Reports yesterday, she declared that the other woman was the crary one. The condition ol the whole lot was so bad, that when Mrs. Roberta was taken to the asylntn, the others were bundled off to the poor house. CquNty Commissioners.—At tho session at the Bsard of County Commissioners yesterdsy, the Trustees of all the • townships, except Lawrence, made their annual reports in reference to tho receipts and expenditures of tho township funds, which Were as follows:

It ia also clear that if the liver, which plays >uch an important port in chanrins the noorlshinr portion of the chyme into the material of the blood, is contested, or in any unnatural condition, the second process will not he thoroushly accomplished. The result of the two failures ia dyapepsla, complicated with hiliousnesa. lUe-mode in which UOsIKTTER'6 BITTERS operate in su. h c«scs is this: They Invicorate the cellular membrane of the stomach, which evolves (lie (rastric juice, thereby insurint an ample sufficiency of the fluid to completely dissolve the food. They also act upon the nerves of the stomach, can-ing an acceleration of the meeban i<-al movement n" csoiry to reduce the food to a homogeneous ma.-s. They also act specifically upon the liver, -tr nzlhcnin# it, and so tnabtiar it to prodnee an ample and regular cuptly of tile, for the purpose of converting the nutritious particles of the I’himt into Chyle, and promote the pass ive through the bowels of the uscleis debris. In this way. HOSTETTTR’S BITTER* cure dyspepsia nnd livorcomplaint. Mnlicork’N l*uiinonic Njrap. Seaweed Togfic and Msndrske Pille, will cure Consumption. Liver Complaint and Dyspepsia, if taken according to tho directions. They are all three to be taken at the same time. They cleanse tho stomach, relax the liver, and pat it to work; then the appetite boaojaies good, the food digest* nnd makes good blood: the patient begins to grow id flush; the diseased matter ripens in the la-ngs. and the patient outgrows the disease and gets well. Thu is tho only way to
cure Consumption.
To those three medicines Dr. J. II. Schenck, of Philadelphia, owes his unrivaled success in the treatment of Pulmonary Consumption. The Pulinonio Byrup ripens tho morbid matter in the iuiig*, nature throws ft off by an easy expectoration, lor when tho phlegm or matter is ripe slight cough will throw it off, and the patient haa

Strength to the Blood. Without a certain portion of Iron, the blood loses its strength and parity. Blood anters every organ through the circulation, distributing the nutritive principle to every texture and the source of every secretion; hence, the importance of keeping it duly enriched. If it hoe become weak, the entire system will be weak, and the danger of incurring disease imminent; in short, good blood makes us healthy—bad blood makes us sick. Here we are admonished of the superior advantage of MISHLER’S HERB BITTERS. The Iron in these Bitters is readily absorbed into the circulation, and a strong and vigorous constitution created. The circulation is regnlated by them, and if any organ be weaker than the rest, the deposits which cease boils, carbuncles, tumors, lumps, etc., are checked and removed, and a healthy tone imparted to the entire system. It always eures, and never fails to prevent diseases arising from impure blood. mch4 deod&wlw
