The most active stocks were Hock Island. Pacific Mall, Wabash, New York Central, F’ort Wayne, Michigan Southern, and North Western. Mariposa certificates were active and higher on the report that Mills commenced running on the 1st instant. The dry goods market is strong and advancing for cotton goods, with an active inquiry. There is a general advance of le per yard on all bleached muslins of medium grades. New York Mills and Wamsutta withdrew from the market yesterday, aud have not been placed for sale on any stands of the leading jobbers. When they are, the advance will be. no doubt, 21%c. Lonsdales is up to 18c, and Hofe to
16%c.
In Brown Muslins there is no improvement, but the tendency Is strongly upward. Atlantic A is held by agents, however, at 17c; still all standard brands can be bought of jobbers at 16%c. Heavy brown drills are rather dull, but relatively low, and must advance. Appleton A is quoted at 17%e, but this is the best brand on sale, and consequently an extreme price. Bootts aud Pepperell are held at 17c, although at the close buyers may be able to eecure them at 16%o, which is the price of Atlantic prints, and the market excited; all dark etylee offering have been bought up and there la a general advance of lo per yard to-day on all medium and light work.

Niw Albany, Julyfi, 1IM. Da. W. M. Wilcox—»?*r: I tried your Worm Destroyer upon one of my children, aged 7 rears, and found it to be all it is represented. The child bad been very puny for eome time, although it wae a very hearty eater. 1 finally tried your Worm Destroyer, and, after administering two doses, a large number of stomach worms were passed off, one of which was eigteen inches long. I can recommend it to ail persons as a safe and reliable remedy for the removal of worms from children. WM. LOUUK. W. M. WIM'OX, M. !>., Proprietor,
