Commanding officers of companies, and such other officers of organizations of the Indiana Legion as hate been or are about to be disbanded, will at once collect all ordnance and ordnance storea appertaining to their retpectite command., and bold the same in readiness to be received by officer dispatched from thia rßice for that purpose. Commanding officers of such companies as may retain their organizations will have an intentory lakeu of all ordnance stores on b-nd, which intentory must chow the kind and quan titv on band, the amount and condition of the same, whether serviceable or damaged. Oue copy of this inventory, certified to as correct by the commanding officer, will be forwarded without delay to this office. III. Surratt, through her counsel, Messrs Aiken aod Clam titt. Judge Wyile, of the Supreme Court of this District, an ineiue of writ of habeaa corpus was m.ule to General Hancock, commtcdin him to produce in Court, at 10 o'clock this morning, the body of Mary K. Surratt, with cau.e and dy of detention. The writ vtjs serted on Oen. Hancock at the Metropolitan Hotel, at 8 o'clock ibis morning, by United Slates Marshal Gooding. He immediately coiisukcd with the Attor ney General and Secretary of Wr. At 10:30 the Getiertl had not obeyed the writ This fact was brought to the notice of the Court by her counsel, but the J udge .iid he had not the power tj enforce the writ. Early to-dy gu.irds were placed all around the Arsenal grounds to prrvent the intrusion of persons to the tene of execution, none being admitted exceptiug those previously supplied with tickets by Mj r Oeneral Hancock. The relative of Mrs. Surratt and Hirrold spent several hours with them during the forenoon, and they were also attended by their spiritual advisers, as were also Pajne and Atterott. A few minutes after one o'clock the outer prison doors were opened, and Mrs. Sarratt, sup ported on ber way to the gallows bt two mili tart officers, came first; next ctme Atzerott, and Harrold and Payne, accompanied bt a euud and their te-pcctite ministers of the Gospol. Atzerott, while being prepared for executioc, exclaimed: "Gen llemen, farewell; take care, and good bye, gentlemen now before me."
