In pursuance to the call to take meanre tfill thf quota of Center township, the Wigwam last evening wa tilled by those who feel the ne-re-itv of attending prrraptlv to the matter iu hand. At half-past 7 o'clock the meeting wa called to ord'-r bv Col Dick Kvan, who nominateil William Wallace Esq., Chairman. Mr. Wallace was unanimously electel. and tat d the objects of the meeting The organization of the meeting was completed by ele-ring James M Tomlinson, and S. T. liowen Vi'i Pre-ident. and K. A Davis .in ! H. Parih as Se retarie. (Jen Carrington, in hi usual happy style, urged npn all pre-ent to come forward and plank up their money liberally to obtain the neceary volunteers. Mr. Swectzer stated that there are 8,559 men on the enrolled list for this township subject to draft That the nnmber of men to be raised was 4SI . The following resolutions were then unanimously pas -d Kesorved, That this township be divided into convenient districts, and that committees be appointed for each district whose duty it shall I forthwith to thoroughly canvass the town-hip ami obtain subcriptions to raise the ne-essary volunteer to fill the quota of Center township.
