CALCULUS, GRAVEL, BHICK I'EST DKIDSIT AND MICUUS OK MILKY DISCUAIU.ES AFTER I KI.NA11NU. Diseases occurring from one and the same cause will be en'irely cured by the Constitution Waier, if taken for any length of time. The dose should vary with the severity of the disease, from twenty drop to a teaspoonful three times a day, in water Durinfc the passage of the Calculus, the pain and urgent symptoms should be combatted Ith the proper remedies, then followed up by the Constitution Water, as above directed. DYSMENORIKKA, OR I'AIMUL MENSTRUATION, AND IN MENOliKHAGlA Uli I'kOFUSli FLOWING. Both diseases arising from a faulty were tion of the menstrual fluid- in the one cae being too little, and accompanied by severe piu; and the other a too profuse secretion, which will be speedily cured by the Constitution Water. That disease known as FALLING OF THE WOMB, which is the result of relaxation of the lingaments of that organ, and is known by a sense of heaviness and dragging pains in the back and sides, ai d at times accompanied by sharp lancidating or shooting pains thmuch the parts, will, in all ca.'es, be removed by the medicine. There is another class i f symptoms ari.-ing from IRRITATION OK THK WOMB, which 'h.kianseall Nervousness, which word covers up muck ignorance, and in nine caes out of ten the doctor does not really know whether the symptoms are the disease, or the di ease the symptoms. We can only enumerate them h- re. I speak more particularly of Cold Feet, Puliation of the Heart, Impaired Memory, Wakefulness, flashes of Heat, Languor, LasMtuJe and Limness of Vision. SUPPRESSED MENSTRUATION, Which in the unmarried female is a constant recurring di ease, and through neglect the seeds of more grave and dangerous maladies are the result, and as month after month passes without au effort being made to assist nature, the suppression becomes chronic, the paiient gradually toes her appetite, the bowels are constipated, night sweats come on, and the con.-urupti- n finally ends her career. LEUCORKHCEA. OK WHITES. This disease depends upon an inflammation of the mucous lining of the vagina or womb. It is in all cases accompanied by severe pa ns in the back, across the bowels and through the h:ps. A teaspoonfui of the medicine may be taken three times a day, with an injret on of a tablespoonful of medkiue, mixed with a hall pint ef toft water morning and evening. FOR DYSPEPSIA It has no equal i l relieving the most distressing symp toms. Also, lie ad.icbe. Heartburn, Acid Moi act, Vomiting Food, ic. Take a te-poonful after dinner. The dose in all case may be increased if desired, but it should be done gradually. PHYSICIANS Hare long nince givru up the use of lucbu cubes andjumber in the treatment of these diseases, and only use them for the want of a better remedy. NOW IS TflE TIME TO SüBSCRIBß Tii isontiiiisi f0i iHori: THE gos-ertsmental and political qaestiona et the coming year will have an absorb'jif io'erest for etery ciUien. We are engaged ia giganf civil war, the result of which none can foresee, u threatens a radiea change in the Institutions and principles cpoo which the Government was founded, and Ik. de traction of the liberty and rigtt of the dtixen, mca as the people of no ether nation have enjoyed, and t which may be attributed war aneepaaled progresa ta at onal prosperity and greatness. The Issue will sown be upon us, whether this free Government shall be preserve ! and maintsiued and the richta af the 5 tat under the Constitution perpetuated, or a powerful central authority be permitted to grow out of this war, obliterating State tires. State institutions, aud all those checks apon the Federal Government, rights reserved by the States, which have constituted the excellence and sup riority of our nationality States "one as the sea" for the common object set firth in the Constitution, but "distinct as tha billows" io the management of their purely d( n tic affafrs. These questions were InTolved in the recent elections, anl the voice of the people was most emphatically expressed for tha "Constitution as it if ard the Union as 1 was." Never was there a time when it was so important that the people should be thoroughly advised as to the progress and condition of public affairs an I of passing events. X people are not ft for self-government unless wiih an intelligent judgment they decide upon the questions which affect alike their owa and tbe public welfare. Will soon assemble, anl the mot Important questions will be brought before it for determination. One of which, the Emancipation and Colonisation policy of the President, will vitally affect the future of the country. All interesting Congressional proceedings will be reported in the .Srai'iff. OCSsIJK sLsKJsrXNl'3CWJXKK A new Legislature will assemble cm the Sth of January next. Its action will hare a deep interest for the citiiena of Indiana. The Sentinel will contain a faithful
and intelligent report of its proceedings, so that tha reader ran understand from day to day what their Representatives are doing. The events of the wsr as they are developed will be faithfully given, so that the public may be advised as ta its progress; the results of battles; tie condition of the contending armies, and all that affects the great struggle, at home and abroad, for tbe overthrow of tbe Rebellion In addition, the Arutiuel m ill contain the CUKkKNT NKWS of the day, CHOICE MISCELLANY, STATE ITEMS, tbe latest report of the NEW YOIiK aud CINCINNATI GENERAL and CATILK M VKKETS, the condition of the MONEY an I STOCK MARKETS; in a word, it will be the effort of the Proprietor of the Hentittl to give its columns an interest for all classes of readers and such information as will be especially adapted to the well being of the citizens of Indiana. The Sentinel will continue to represent and stand by the regular organisations of the iHrmocratic prty, State ' and National; sustain the principles and policy they shall avow, and support the candidates they may nominate. We have no agents. The low prices for subscription will not allow iL We therefore ask our Democratic friends all who desire the success of sound principles to aid in the extension of the circulation of the Sentinel, Daily and Weekly, until they shall at least reach every IVmocrattc family in Indiana. The press la a most importat.t a;;ent in directing rieht the public mind, and all that is needed to give the Democratic parte peimancnt rule is the enlightenment cf the people as to its principles anJ policy. It shall be our aim, with all the abjity we possess, to faithfully advocate Democratic sentiments and measures, for we believe that In soloing we best promote the true interests of tbe country. STATUTES OF INDIANA. OAVi.t iionp-n nr.visio.f . The secosxl volama cf ateaara.GavAa k Herd's ewr7fla. tion of Indiana Sumtes bas just appeared. This eolusoa catnpletes their w?rk. Its m.haclcal etecotioo ll ver cred.Uble; and the sk:2, learning, and labor which tbt editors have restowed on it, merit the L!gkst praiaa. None but learned, diligent lawyers coaid kav prodacd such a work. The second vol a me embraces all tha pablie sUtat.a a lialia&a now in force upon the subjects to which it relates, aad the first all excepting the acta af the last reg-'Uraad eitra seniors of the Lecslature. It ia a great aieal. lence of the compilation that all ettsttr g statutes on each subject are collected together In tbe sam place in tbeaa volumes; sothattl realer can see at a g'anca a!l tha legislation ta force cn any given sabjeet. Take, for eaaajple, the act ef Ii2, organising Courts ef Cotrim rieas the editors publish th act at large, and they als print. In tbe form of notes on the same pages eortalning this statute, all the acts amendatory to It which fcava been passed up to this time. And so they hsve does af all the other acts contained la the revision af Tbe editors have added much to the value of these ve4umes especially the last ly tke eoplaua and learned rotes with which the volumes abound. Thee notes Indu cate much labor an legal acumen. They furvih ui, in a concise and accurate form, with all the ad.'adieaUoerxrf our Supreme Court on these statutes. Tbesa adjudiea'tions being now very numerous, the references ta tbeaa In the volumes un ler consideration, will be of great vakea to the lawyer, and indeed to all persons concerned Ln tha admitistraiion of Justice. The editors have also referraJ, in their notes, to numerous decisiona In other Slates, ma le on statutes similar to ours. An excellence of these volumes, not ta be verlook4 is the full and accurate index appended to eaeb. la lodi ana, there never bas been a good Index ta any velumea statutes published by authority. This provoking defect bas been completely remedied in the volumes ander aaste w; and these Indexes will greatly lighua tbe labar af all who have occasion to look Into our statatee. This a the first time that private anterprlsa bas attempted the publication of Indiana statutes. Tbe attempt, I do not doubt, will be successful, and wfll duly reward tbe learned editors and enterprising publishers. Every lawyer will, of course, purchase th.s. wromes; and every clerk, sheriff, and Justice of tha peace, of lha State, will fnd it to bis advan'atce to own them. DAVID M'DONAJjD. Indianapolis, June 5, 1S62 The foregoing notice by Jndga McDoaalJ, of Oavn lloan's Compilation ft the Statutes of Indiana, Is not da signed aa a puJ of the work, but is au unsolicited com mendatlon or the aMlity, accuracy, and completeness with which these volumes have tee prepared.
