Take, for example, the act of 1S52, organlring Court of Common Fleas tbe editor publbh the act at large, and they also print, in the form of note on the same page containing thi statute, all the acts amendatory to it which have been passed up to this time. And so they have done of all the other acts contained In the revision of 1S52. The editors have added much to the value of theie relume especially the last by the copious and learned notes with wbirh tbe volumes abound. These notes indicate much labor and legal acumen. They furtiish us. In a conci.e and accurate form, with all the adiudications of car Supreme Court oa thf e statutes. These adjudication being now very numerous, ;he references to them In tht volumes under consideration, will be of great value to the lawyer, and indeed 10 all persons concerned in tbe alministra ion 0: Justice. An excellence of these volume, not to be overlooked is the full and accurate indx appended to each. In Indiana, there never baa beeu a good index to any vo'ume o statutes published by authority. Thii provoking defect ha been completely remedied in the volumes under review; and the indexes w ill greatly lighten the labor of all who have occasion to look into our stalutes. Thi is the lirt time that private euterprue has attempted the pull cation of Indiana statutes.
