a pension, or he may, if be prefer it, obtain ai mission into the Military Asylum, which wil

afford him a comfortable home so long na he may

w ish to receive its benefits.

To the above pay for private soldiers must be

added the additional $2 a month to be paui during service, the $100 bounty at the end of the war, which has already been provided for, and the quarter section of" land that Congress will provide for at its coming session. The loiintj nnd land apply to officers and privates alike.
