Hence, bitter and painful disappointment has followed the ue of the various extracts of Sarsaparilla which liood the market, until the name "umjIi is justly de-p!sed. and has become synonymous with imposition and cheat. Still we call this compound Sarsaparilla, and intend to supply such a remedy as shall rescue the name from the load of obloquy which tests upon it. And we think we have ground for believing it his virtues which are irresistible by the ordinary run of the diseases it is intended to cure. The imjHTfect manner of publishing our statutes under State autliority, has always been a source of great inconvenience to the Indiana Lawyer. The revision of 1SÖ2, as well as the Matute passed since that J'ear, r.iiiht almost a well have been published without any Index. Messrs. Gavin A Honl seem to have performed this part of their work exceedingly well. It must haecwt them much care and labor. By it they Lav? K'eat'y lessened the labor of the practising lawyer, and have well merited bis pratefnl approval.
