" Quarters, fuel and medical attendance are always provide! by the Government without deduction lrom the soldier's pay. If a soldier should become disabled in the line of his duties, the law provides for h m a jension, or he mar, if he prefer it, obtain admission into the Military Asylum, which will afford him a comfortable home so long as he may w ish to receive its benefits.
