The star Mill atill Ahead on the 24th of December,at Wabasbtown, N. B.—We the undersigned citizens of Wabash County, having seen Leavitt’s Excelsior Young America. Scott A Hedge’s Littie Giant and Joyce’s Star Mill, each thoroughly tested in tiiis place, ami we take pleasure in saying that in our opinion, the Star Mill is entirely su|>erior to all oth era. In one of the trials we witnessed, the Star Mill ground seven and a half I ushels of Corn, while the Little Giant ^ ground three and a half bushels—(the Young America was ! so far l»ehind the others, that it does not deserve a notice;) and with less power than was applied to tile Little Giant. 11. A late Trial Test in Sullivan, Indiana On Ov-llth dav of August a great contest came off on the Public Squ ire, Sullivan, between Scott and Hedges’ doulleoue Lithe Giant Corn MiU and Joice’s Star Corn Mill, at which the committee apponted to decide on the rner ts of the machines after seeing them thoroughly tested : inteveial different ways of grinding, and examining th* construction of the two mills, and made the following

report :

We, the undersigned, chosen to decideon the qualities of the Little Giant MiU ami the Star Mill, after a full examination of said Mills, seeing their performances, and hearing the explanations of the respective owners respecting each mill, conceive that there is a very little difference in th* general claim- of said Mills, but we feel constrained, alt ; things consiuered, that for general purposes, the preference is in favor of the Star Mill. I have also clanged my Little Giant MUI, which I have had fer over two years, in part payment for the Star Mill. I am well satisfied that the Star MIU Is decidedly superior to th* Little Giant in its grinding qualities and of much easier draft. 1 would recommend all Stock feeders to purchase the Star MUI in preference to aU nulls with which I am acquainted.
