Fatal Dcbl.—On Tuesday evening fo«t. alter our peper went to press, a duel came off on the line between Favette and Seott counties, at 5 o’clock in the evening. Tbe parties were Tbos. White, a sou of Mr. Zachary White, of Woodford, aad Benjamin Johnson, a son of Capt. Henry Jobason, of this city. Tbe challenge was given by White on the day previous, aad th* weapons were double-barreled shot-guns, loaded vch with a single ball, and the dittenee forty yards. At the first fire, White fell, the ball of his antagonist passing through his brain mad killing him instantly. Johnson was not iajared. They ware both respectable young men; Johnson not morn than twenty or twentyone, aad White about twenty-five or twenty-seven years of age.
