Here's another a pug dog and has been making a general search for the much prized animal. Some wag got onto it and seeing a good chance to get even for jokes played upon him in days gone by by the triangle, wrote a very polite note to the voung lady in which he intimated that if she would inouireof Abe Shewmaker, Arch Taylor or Os Reynolds at the Union Depot they 'could tell her something of the dogs whereabouts." The letter was taken as an actual fact and placed in the hands of a gentleman friend who called on the gentleman mentioned and demanded the dog They attempted to explain matters, but it wouldn't go. He had "come for the dog and would have it or satisfaction." Mr. Reynolds tried to quiet the gentleman but made a miserable failure. The story got out and now the many victims of the jokes of the triangle are now enjoying a hearty laugh at their expense.
