The Water Works Iliiildiiipi. Barnard Dougherty has been awarded the contract for making the excavations for the new filter house for the new water works. The work was begun at noon Thursday, but has been seriously interfered with by the weather. Kussell^ Revel who have the contract for the brick work and masonry, are anxious to begin work as soon as the excavations are completed in order to finish the work before cold vyeather.
