•-•It may be well to say here that the Young Men's Club meets on Monday instead of Saturday night of every week. The Central Club Saturday night. The Colored Republicans on Friday night.
•The man who stole the buggy from the Crapo House, Is under arrest at Paris, Ills. He will be icturned to this city. We are nnahle to learn, his name or whether the horse belonged to him or npt
•-•The McKeen Bros.' mills on east Main stret have been shut down for the past two months, and will not be started again until new wheat comes in. They are Repairing and putting In hew machinery. They will have eighteen run of steel burs. This will make it one of the largest mills In the State.
•-•The Young Men's Republican Club had a called meeting last night for the purpose of exchanging congratulations. Speeches were made by leading Republicans, and several Nationals present complimenting the Republicans on their victory, and said thoy would see that wo won another victory in May. One of the boys being called on, said he felt more like hallowing than speaking, and by order of the President every voice in the room was raised in three lusty cheers. The club voted to invite Hon. Monroe Mil ford, of Attica, to address them on next Monday night.
