The charman of the Benton

county democratic committee has issued a call for the county con* vention, addressed to “The democratic voters of Benton county.” In like man. er, the call for the democratic county convention of Ne ivton, is addressed to “The democratic voters of Newton county.” It seems to have been left to the “popocratic” chairman of Jasper county to issue a call dictated by a few populists who desired to ‘af filiat-’ with the democracy, share the offices, and direct the destiny of the party.
