Fatal Consulate.

The death l»y suicide of Frederick Muehtueyer, United States consul at San Salvador, lias attracted renewed attention to the singular fatality attached to the residence of Americans in that city. Both Mr. Muehmeyer's predecessors wore victims of yellow fever. Three vacancies in the consulate have occurred In four years.
