Made a Fortune Out of State Bread.

A very rich Frenchman called "Fere” Chnpalier made Ids fortune by utllls-, lug the stAle bread of Paris, not only that which came directly from households, but also that found among the garbage of the city. Ghapaller was a manufacturer of bread crumbs. He pulverised the stale bread collected by a multitude of agents and either sold the crumbs to restaurants for kitchen use or remolded and baked them In the form of loaves for the poor.
