Sudden Death of Wm. Clark.

Monday morning iast Wi.liam Clark, for many years a well and favorably known resident of this county, while carrying a cask drop ped dead whan nearly opposite the court house wel’. He was born in Lewistowh, Pa., in 1827. aud was therefore in his 70th year. He never married, but made bis home with his half sisters, Mrs. Mary B. Kays, of this place, Mrs. Mattie Culp, Cat roll county, and with his half brother, John Moore, of Barkley township. Our acquaintance with Will , Clark dates back from our early ; boyhood. Always aoooramodatiug, firm and steadfast in his friend ship, he was always true to his friends. He was not connected with any church, but was a lirm believer in the teachings of the ( Bible. Politically, he was an unflinching Democrat.
