M. Alexander Felix Joseph Ribot, former premier of France, who for a number of years has been one of the most prominent figures in French politics, has arrived in New York from Paris. The Chamber of Commerce, Board of Trade and Mayor Sutro, of San Francisco, have sent an official invitation to Li Hung Chang through the Chinese consul general there to a reception at the hall of the Chamber of Commerce should he parr through Suu Fraucisac.
