Family Life.
Family life sustains national lifeāthat is, by lightening the duties that would otherwise fall heavily upon the State. No one can compute the degree to which the family circle, with Its ever-prevading influence, anticipates wants, prevents crime,/promotes Industry and independence, and thus II9JIA back many of the burdens that wotnp otherwise be borne by the State. It is safe to say that there would be; a tenfold necessity for laws and penalties all through the country were it not for the controlling and guiding influence of the home.
