Pigmy Porkers.
Some specimens of the smallest known species of hogs are now quartered at the London zoological gardens. They came from the desert regions of Australia and are known as “the pigmy hogs of the antipodes.” They are well formed, frisky little porkers, the very largest and heaviest in the lot (which are all full grown) not being larger than a muskrat These zoological curios are real hogs, and should not be confounded with the so-called “Guinea pjgs,” which are a specie of rodent
