Dr. V. E. LOUGHRIDGE, After a brief illness, uep&ried this lifts Saturday morning, March 21, 1896, aged 32 years, 9 months and 22. Victor E. Lough ridge was born and reared in Rensselaer. Graduated from the Rensselaer high school in 1880, from A n Arbor in 1881. For several months he attended Ann Arbor university, after which he commenced the study ol medicine with his father atthis place, graduating from Rush cillege in 1888, when he juined his father in the practice of his chosen profession. October 10th, 1888, he married Miss Alice of Laporte, lnd . who died the following year. March 7th, 1894, he was married to Miss Fairy Wilcox, who, with an interesting little daughter survive him. Just entering upon the threshold of a busy and useful life, the demise of “Vic,” as he was famil iarly called, is peculiarly sad, a’nl the community at large share the the sorrow of the immediate relatives in the irreparable loss they they sustain. Un Monday last funeral services were conducted at the residence by Revß. Paradis aud Utter; the obsequies in charge of K. of P. organization. The floral tributes were numerous and ap: ropiate.
