Woman’s Rights in Russia.

In Russia, if a man marries an heiress he gets no chance to own her money. There is no marriage settlement; she controls her property throughout her life. This financial independence of the wife has conduced greatly to happy marriages. It is believed that among the well to do people in Russia there are more happy marriages in most other countries.
