Said a well known optician. “You have no idea how many people come in here daily who want cheap glasses. Affection of the eyes, which require the nicest and most accurate adjustment to correct, and which cannot be done without good glasses, are deemed of less moment than other so-called human necessities." While he was speaking a man entered who purchased a pair of spectacles for 25 cents. “There is an example,” continued the optician. “That man’s sight will probably become worse.
