On the Bike.
An experienced observer has declared that until the fair cycler shall have learned to wear a merrj' smile while riding, her education in wheelcraft cannot be deemed to have been completed. This hint should suffice to banish from their faces the tense, determined look so characteristic of wheel women. Laughing eyes and parted lips disclosing pearly teeth as their owner Hashes by on the swiftly whirling wheel are a joy to the beholder; u dead in earnest wheelwoman Imparts the anxiety depicted upon her countenance to every one she moots. The man bicycle rider is not expected to look pleasant. He is a sight; he looks ns if bent on boating somebody in a race; he perspires and humps himself; ho gets there; but he is not a jpvlal thing of beauty.
