George Washington’s Rag Doll.
A number of women at Huntington, L. 1., Interested in the success of a “people's room” searched among the old residents of the town for curious and quaint things, and held an exhibition of them hist evening in the upper rooms of the People’s Building street One of the most interesting exhibits was a rag doll which was made by a great-grandmother of Mrs. J. H. Ripley, of New York, and presented to George Washington when he was a boy.
