The Soldiers’ Homes.

There are seven soldiers’ homes, called national, and supported by the government. They are as follows : Northwestern, Milwaukee, Wis.; Central, Dayton. O.; Eastern, Togus, Me.; Southern, Hampton, Va.; Marion, Marion, Ind.; Western, Leavenworth, Kan. ; Pacific, Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Cal. There are many other homes supported by State governments and called State homes: Yountville, Cal.; Monte Vista, Col.; Norton Heights, Conn.; Quincy.
