An exchange says: “The exjieriment station attached to one of the State universities is at present considering the propriety of evolving a type of coach horse distinctly. American are superior or to the kindred breeds of Europe. It is proposed to select a few large trotting mares, with the desired conformation and action, and a stallion of similar build and gait, and possessed of a good measure of speed, and it will not take long to produce and establish such a valuable type of coach horses.
