Washington is the birthplace of the Knights of x-ythia-, ana it is fitting that the city in which the infant strugges of the order we e made should., now be the scene of the largest gathering of Knights ever brought together. The order wa- founded Feb. 19, ib(s4, by Mr. Justice H. Rathbone and ot ers, and from a beginning of live members has grown to over half a million.
The feature of the encampment was the grand parade of the uni o -tn ran <.
