The department ha< been commissioned to produce them for the African chief, Menelik. The stamps are of the nominal value of 5, 10, 25 and 50 centimes, and 1. 2 and 3 francs. The fir t ,the cheaper sorts) represent a lion surmounted by a crown, holding a banner, and the others bear Menelik’s effigy.—London News.
