Narrow London Streets.

A proposed law that any new building erected in London shall have its front not less than twenty-four feet from the middle of the street has bropght out the fact that there are in the heart of the city thirty-two miles of streets less than forty feet broad. If the principle were generally applied on a plan of reconstruction of streets, land to the value of about $40,000,000 would be sacrificed.— {Chicago Times.
