Effective Baptism.

At one of the smaller cities of New England there was an Episcopal church which had two mission chapels, comrrionly known as the East Ena Mission and tne North End Mission, from the parts of the city where they were respectively located. One day the rector save. out the notices in his most distinguished high church tones, as follows; “There will be a service at the North Fnd Mission at 3 o’clock, and at the Fast End at 5.
