He Added a Postscript.

The following genuine 1 ‘bull’ ’ story is related by a down town merchant: An out of town customer to whom some goods had been shipped, discovered, as lie thought, a mistake in the bill overcharging him to a considerable amount. He wrote to the merchant in the city without delay, and the letter was duly received. It dwelt at, length on carelessness in general and particularly in the case of this bill, waxing indignant over the foolish mistake and demanding a correct bill at once. At the foot of the bill was the hastily written postscript to this effect, “Since writing the above I have re-examined your bill and find it correct after alJ.”—[New York Tribune.
