Yet some brave birds are singing, And tldlnes of the coming flow’rs And hidden grass they’re bringing. "There, that s not had. Go on, my hoy, Now, ’sunny skies above you’ And ’laughing joys’ and— um-um-um And pet names like ‘you, dove, you.’ But I’ve referred to birds before. What’s left? ‘Glove you’ and ‘of you,’ And move you.’ No. that wouldn’t do, Unless we read It ‘muv you.’ I’m In a fix. I call for help To thee, thou laughing Cupid.
