In honor of the celebration of the 69th birthday of the Queen Regent of China 1,200,000 pieces of red silk, each „ forty feet long and three feet wide, •were ordered to be made in the imperial mills of Nanking, Soo-Chow-Foo, and Hang-Chow-Foo.
