A Happy Family.

The exceptional motherly affection of Lotta, an Angora Maltese cat, for three little white bull terrier pups, orphaned soon after their birth, is the most noticeable feature of a “happy family" possessed by Gilbert H. Prfndle. The purring foster-mother, although she has two pretty kittens of her own, takes quite as tender care of these terrier puppies (which are white, like the kittens), and of four fox terrier puppies also, as she does of her own little felines. She nurses, feeds and washes the puppies and kittens impartially; and the partner of her joys, a big Maltese oat, known as Girover, seems to regard the adoption of'the seven oanlnee with approval.—Philadelphia Record.
