America Draw. First Blood In the International Yacht Races. The first of the series of great international yacht races Was won easily by the famous Yankee craft, the Vigilant. The Vigilant crossed the line at 3:314 and the Valkyrie at 3:38i. The finish was a very pretty one and the American yacht won handily with a lead of a mile and a half over her com-
petitor. Both yachts were under a cloud of canvas. The wind was blowing at the rate of seventeen miles an hour at the finish and the two boats came along at the speed of racehorses. Two persons were killed at Prqston, Ark., by a wind storm.
