PAYING OFF THE STATE DEBT.
State Treasurer Albert Gall the other day forwarded to New York $37,337 50 to pav interest on the slate debt, the money being remitted to Winslow, Lanier & Co. He also deposited in bank $340,000 to be applied on the state debt.
