It has been suggested by a number of good democrats that a eens stitutional amendment be adopted wiping out the Legislature, and to confer its functions upon the Indianapolis Sentinel. From present indications “crow” will occupy considerable space on the bill of fare that will be dished out to a number of democratic journals in the next campaign.

Many recruits are making applications to Rensselaer Post No. 84, Department of Indiana, Grand Army of the Republic.— This Post has now 82 members in good standing, aud before Decoration Day we will number 100 or mor?, and then we will sing that good old tane “When Johnny Comes March.ng Home Again, H i ah!” There are a great many soldiers who wore tne blue now without the Grand Army badge, and without a homo. Now, oid soldiers, come and make your application at once to the Grand Army of the Republic and have a home w th us, for it won’t be long until the long roll will be called, and the Grand Army will be there.
