At a convention recently held in the city of Chicago by dealers in butter, chepse, and eggs, statistics were produced showing the value of the egg product of the United States last year amounted to $300,000,000; of poultry, $100,000,000, making a grand total of $300,000,000 to the credit of the hen*.
