Y., John Boyd Thatchers, a World’s Fair Commissioner, once an ardent Cleveland man, but who became a Hill convert, was defeated for the presidency of the Young Men’s Democratic Club, the leading political organization in that city, by Congressman Charles Tracey,[Cleveland Democrat, by a vote of 78 to 9.
